Senegal - Inquiry Team Training

Inquiry Team Training (ITT) provides three days of intensive modular training on how to respond to child safety reports. The Inquiry Team Training is reserved for CSPN Member organizations. Mission agencies and international schools are encouraged to send 2-4 people to the same ITT event. The ITT will be taking place July 5-7th. CSPN members must have the approval of their gatekeeper to attend the ITT. Please plan to attend every ITT session over all three days.
*Orientation will be taking place from 4-6pm on Tuesday, July 4th. Please keep this in mind when purchasing flights. Orientation will be followed by dinner at the NTM guesthouse. If you live locally, you are welcome to stay for dinner but it is not required. The cost of dinner is not covered in the registration fee. Please refer below of meal costs.

Inquiry Team Training (ITT) is geared for Missions Organizations and International Christian Schools who: have been approved as members of the Child Safety & Protection Network, have completed or are in the process of drafting their child safety policies, and wish to train a team in the area of organizational response to child abuse reports regarding staff or children within their organization.
Agencies are asked to send a minimum of 2 team members (unless others from the organization have already attended one of the trainings) who have been specifically tasked with conducting internal inquiries for their organization.

The conference will be held at the West African headquarters of New Tribes Mission in Dakar, Senegal. Housing and meals will be taking place at the NTM Guesthouse which is within walking distance of the conference venue.

The NTM guesthouse has housing options for a flat rate of $10.20 USD per person per night. There are other guesthouses located nearby. However, these will require a commute by taxi each day to and from the conference site.
The NTM guesthouse beds are limited; if you chose to stay at the NTM guesthouse, please be willing to share a room with others. If you need to have a single room, we request that you stay off site at one of the nearby guesthouses.
You will be responsible for reserving your lodging. Please plan to pay for your lodging and meals upon check-out. Breakfast ($2.5 per meal) and dinner ($3.4) will be held at the NTM guesthouse for those staying at the guesthouse. You will pay the NTM guesthouse directly at the end of the conference for your meals (breakfast and dinner) and room. Those staying offsite will have breakfast and dinner at their perspective guesthouses. All participants are welcome to have lunch at the NTM guesthouse during the conference. The cost of lunch is already included in the registration fee.
Each conference participant is responsible to determine whether or not they require a visa to enter Senegal. American and European citizens do not currently need a visa to enter Senegal. Transport from Airport to Hotel
Please book your flights to arrive at the International Airport in Dakar, Senegal. Please plan to take a taxi to the New Tribes Mission Guesthouse upon arrival. See address listed above.
Registration slot is only held when payment is received. Payment is expected within two weeks of registration or registration may be cancelled. The cancellation fee is $100. Registration can be transferred to another individual for a fee of $50.
